Sue and Liz met in 2010 on the day they both launched their new ventures

RedShift Radio , an online community radio station was due to go live at 7pm that evening and Liz had been invited to Sue's first event in Chester to interview author Marie-Claire Carlye.

Sue, having been persuaded by her friend to come out of retirement, was launching the Northwest branch of Forward Ladies.

Little did Liz & Sue know that the meeting would be the start of a friendship to stand the test of time...

When Covid hit, Sue wanted to continue to help those who attended her meetings and realised she could do this by sharing the skills and talents of the contacts in her Little Black Book.

By creating this series of Podcasts of “Creative Conversations in Cheshire” she could spread the net wider and a larger audience could learn about the wonderful inspiring people she had met over the years.

Sue’s background is in fashion, she was a childrenswear designer, then moved into marketing and PR for a group of hotels. She is also Patron of the charity Gift Of a Wedding

Nantwich Buddies is a volunteer organisation set up at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Formerly known as RedShift Radio, the online community radio station and podcast network closed during lockdown and Buddies ramped up their support of the community. Helping with shopping, befriending and supporting the mental health of Nantwich residents.
The podcasting continues as Nantwich Buddies and podcasters are welcome to join our network as long as they meet the criteria: Engaging, Uplifting or Inspiring and support the wellbeing or learning of our community.
